Service Description

According to traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), cupping involves creating a vacuum on the skin to alleviate stagnation (stagnant blood and lymph), promoting the flow of qi. This technique is commonly used to address respiratory ailments like the common cold, pneumonia, and bronchitis, as well as musculoskeletal issues in areas such as the back, neck, and shoulders. It can help with pain relief, inflammation reduction, improved blood circulation, relaxation, and overall well-being, functioning as a form of deep-tissue massage. Nowadays, cupping therapy has become a popular self-care practice embraced by many, including athletes such as Olympians. In TCM, it is not recommended to perform cupping on skin ulcers or the abdominal or sacral regions of pregnant women.
